f5cb2ff328 Rework synchronisation between webserver and main. 
We now exit with an error code if the webserver couldn't start.

4d79d10d6e Reimplement http.FileServer. 
http.FileServer is inflexible, it is better to reimplement it
rather than trying to work around its limitations.
